v1.2 Update!
Pierce the Heavens » Devlog
One last update before the new year! This update includes the following changes:
- Beat 2: Unionization to be more centered upon mobilizing the workers in Kestrel's Bounty. It uses a more granular clock for tracking mobilization and combat preparations to allow for more freeform approaches to rallying the mining community.
- To support the change to Beat 2, several events now directly contribute to mobilization, including dealing with the Broadcast Tower in the Commons and freeing Asuka from the Dig Site stockade.
- After seeing that Boss Grosso's Demolisher proved problematic for new players, Combat: Grit Those Teeth now features the dig site supervisor in a Goliath instead of a Demolisher. PCs who defeat him can obtain his Deck-Sweeper Automatic Shotgun as Exotic Gear.
- The Conclusion for Mission Failure has been revised to maintain the PCs' agency, allowing PCs to retreat back into Kestrel's Bounty and providing the GM with several options for a follow-up mission.
